Adair Gate.JPG

An oasis away from the city.

When you enter the front gates of Adair you are entering your own 25 acre sanctuary. Once you arrive, you'll only need to share the property with the locals: the kangaroos that graze the orchards or laze in the sun; the emu families who stroll across the fields; the blue wrens that dart around the house catching insects, and the rest of the fascinating native flora and fauna that call Adair home. You've found the perfect escape from the demands of the modern world.

Just 2.5 hours from Melbourne or a 5.5 hour drive from Adelaide, Adair resonates to a different rhythm. Born partly of the unhurried pace of rural Australia, and partly of a much older and more majestic timelessness of the Grampians (Gariwerd) Mountains that overlook it, Adair represents a return to the more leisurely 1930s. The din of city life is replaced by lilting birdsong, and every new day ushers in a new experience or a new discovery.

Comfortably furnished in the the style of the period, Adair has 3 comfy queen beds, a bunk room with 2 sets of bunk beds, a 50" smart TV, bluetooth equipped stereo, air conditioning, free wifi, and piles of books and games to crank up the laughter.

So make Adair your escape from the cares and worries of the world, tune in to a different rhythm, and allow yourself to relax and revive in the company of family and friends, in the heart of the beautiful Grampians district.

“From the moment we drove up the driveway we knew we were going to have a fabulous weekend away with the family. Wild emus, kangaroos and deer roaming the property absolutely made our experience magic. The house itself was exactly what we needed! A huge kitchen table next to a fire place where everyone could be together. The lounge room was also great for the little people to play board games and watch the footy! The fireplaces in some of the rooms just added a great touch to this experience. We also loved the fact that there was instructions for lighting fires (handy for the boys ;) ) and a information for things to do in the surrounding areas! We had all age groups from a 1 year old to a 60 year old and everyone was so thrilled. Thank you so much for letting us stay in this amazing house. Forever grateful.”
